Beautifully restored 1894 dance hall in Schulenburg, between Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Built by German and Czech immigrants, anchored Main Street until World War II, then sat closed until restoration reopened it in 2009. National Register of Historic Places, National Preservation Award winner. Original 115-year-old longleaf pine dance floor upstairs. Downstairs has a saloon, restaurant serving Czech-German fare with a Euro-Texas twist, and beer garden. Polka and country live music. 5,000 sq ft dance hall holds up to 200
