Wednesday Night Two-Stepping in Austin

Wednesday nights in Austin are weirdly great. The weekend hasn't started, the tourist crowd is thin, and some of the best regular bookings in town happen on Wednesday. If you're new to two-stepping, Wednesday is an ideal night to start.

Donn's Depot - FREE lesson

7:30pm Beginner Two-Step Lesson with Double or Nothing Two-Step, followed by Frank Cavitt & The Honky-Tonk Doctors at 8:30pm. No cover. This is the easiest place in Austin to try two-stepping for the first time.

Sagebrush

Wednesdays at Sagebrush often feature Theo Lawrence, one of Austin's most-loved acts. Music starts around 9pm.

Broken Spoke

Wednesdays at Broken Spoke feature Joshua Hedley or Michael Monroe Goodman in the dancehall at 9pm. $10-15 cover.

Hot Club of Cowtown on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm is a weekly highlight for swing dancers.
