Saturday Night Two-Stepping in Austin

Saturday is the biggest honky-tonk night in Austin. Every venue is at full tilt. Lines form. Covers go up. Arrive early if you want a spot at the bar.

Dale Watson again on most Saturdays. Alvin Crow plays a monthly Saturday residency. Dancehall fills up fast - get there by 9pm.

Double or Nothing Two-Step Beginner lesson at 7pm, followed by three bands. $15 cash.

White Horse

Saturday's biggest night at the Horse - three bands starting 8pm, Dancin' Austin lesson at 7pm. $10 cover.

Continental Club

Earl Poole Ball at 3:30pm is a legendary weekly afternoon show. Evening headliners vary.

Road trips worth making

Saturdays are great for a Luckenbach or Coupland Dance Hall road trip. Both are 45 min - 1 hour from Austin.
